A blood moon is a lunar eclipse. Our first blood moon lunar eclipse this year is March 13, 2025. This blood moon kicks off eclipse season for 2025, with the energy culminating with the close of eclipse season in autumn. 

Blood moons were seen as an omen in ancient times, and are seen as a malefic event in astrology. The blood color of the moon is the earth's shadow covering the moon. Lunar eclipses shake up energy, reveal truths, and close cycles. They are the amplified energy of a full moon plus the raw power of an eclipse. 

Like my full moon candle and dark moon candle, the incoming blood moon ritual candles will be scented 8 ounce tin candles. They will be blood red in color, adorned with crystals and cowrie shells. The blood moon ritual candles will have small pieces of quartz, garnet, moonstone, and amethyst crystals. They feature a soy-blend wax for optimal fragrance throw and clean burns. Blood moon ritual candles are infused with the ritual oil (see below) and scented with "Blood Moon," an original fragrance blend. Dragon's blood, sacred sandalwood, on a base of midnight amber and dark musk. Mysterious, powerful. Unisex fragrance. 

Blood moon scented ritual oils are also being created. Comes in a one ounce glass dropper bottle. Blood moon ritual oils feature crystals, botanicals, and reiki. In addition to all lunar-aligned botanicals and real dragon's blood resin, they also have the same crystals as the blood moon candles. 

Blood moon ritual candles and oils are aligned with the energy of closing cycles and beginning new ones, amplifying power, creating empowerment, and transmutation. Use them together to weave your fate and create energetic change in your life.
